Image-guided treatments provide new treatment strategies, offering patient-specific strategies in precision medicine, resulting in fewer side-effects, and shorter hospitalization. As imaging-based endpoints are crucial for predicting treatment success and are most effective in the intra-operative setting, he is exploring AI-driven intra-operative image analysis approaches to assess these endpoints in real time.
