Anne van den Brekel
PhD Candidate
Anne van den Brekel studied Technical Medicine with a specialization in Medical Imaging and Interventions at the University of Twente, for which she obtained her master’s degree in July 2021. In September 2021, she started her PhD project at the Department of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine of the Radboudumc under supervision of Frank Nijsen and Jurgen Fütterer. Her PhD project is funded by the NWO and focusses on the distribution of radioactive holmium microspheres during selective internal radiation therapy of liver malignancies.
