Kristian Overduin completed his Master’s degree in Technical Medicine at the University of Twente and graduated with first-class honours in 2012. He carried out a doctoral research at the Radboud University Medical Center, Nijmegen, the Netherlands, focusing on MRI-guided interventions for diagnosis and focal treatment of prostate cancer, for which he achieved a PhD in 2017. Currently, he is a Technical Medicine fellow within the department of Radiology and hybrid OR’s of the Medical Innovation and Technology expert Center (MITeC), Radboud University Medical Center. His main focus is image-guided biopsy and ablation procedures for minimally invasive abdominal interventions.
