Lauren te Molder is a PhD candidate at the Department of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. She studied medicine at the Radboud University Nijmegen. In October 2023 she started her PhD under the supervision of Jurgen Fütterer, Maroeska Rovers and Michiel Sedelaar. Her research focusses on focal therapy in prostate cancer: a multicenter randomized clinical trial on focal therapies versus standard of care in the treatment of intermediate-risk prostate cancer. Her project is funded by the grant Veelbelovende Zorg from Zorginstituut Nederland and ZonMw.
