Nynke Dijkhuis studied Technical Medicine at the University of Twente, specializing in Medical Imaging & Interventions. In December 2025, she started her PhD at the Department of Medical Imaging. Her research focuses on improving the prediction of local tumor progression following thermal ablation in patients with colorectal liver metastases and prostate cancer through margin quantification. She is supervised by Kristian Overduin and Jurgen Fütterer.
