Although dynamic MR imaging is used as an additional tool to assess pelvic organ prolapse, there are many aspects still unknown or not yet standardized. Like an optimized scoring/staging system of pelvic organ prolapse, or even more important, the clinical value and relevance of this diagnostic tool in the assessment of pelvic organ prolapse or patients' symptoms of pelvic floor dysfunction. The purpose of this thesis was to provide an answer to the following underlying research questions.
